XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis)

Depending on the material, XRF can be performed on  

• Melting tablets
• Powder  pellets
• non-destructively and spatially resolved on the sample (e.g. alloy determination)

Advantages of the analysis: 

• Simultaneous analysis of a wide range of elements
• The results can be supplemented with a variety of other methods (e.g. ICP-MS, ICP-OES, RDA)
